Altar Server

The role of the altar server is integral to the normal celebration of the Mass. An altar server attends to supporting tasks, such as assisting at the altar, helping bring up the gifts, and bringing up the liturgical books, among other things.

Altar Servers children (starting at age 10) and adults, are welcome to assist the priest at Mass. They are scheduled on a rotating basis, and training sessions are announced in the bulletin.
