Catholic Services Appeal 2026
The Catholic Service Appeal
The Catholic Services Appeal is an annual campaign of the Archdiocese of Detroit promoted through the efforts of our parishes. Each parish is provided with an individual goal to assist the Archdiocese in this fundraising effort. Any funds collected over the parish goal are returned to the parish for their own needs.
The ministries, programs, and services funded by CSA include Catholic Schools, Clergy and Consecrated Life, Communications and Marketing, Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship, Mission Advancement and Stewardship, Parish Care and Services, Priestly Vocations, Technology, Sacred Major Seminary and Cathedral Support, National Collections and Metropolitan Tribunal.
The only supported projects outside of the Archdiocese include six specific national collections of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. The archdiocesan lay Finance Council oversees the distribution of CSA funds to ensure all reach the ministries, programs, and services for which they are intended.
