OCIA
For those interested in becoming a Catholic or learning more about the Catholic Church, we offer a program to help you discern and explore. The OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) usually follows the academic year, beginning in the fall. Though the process can be adapted and individualized, with the sacraments of initiation celebrated at the Easter Vigil.
We can work with you if you have not been baptized or if you have been baptized in another Christian denomination.
The process involves prayer, reading, and classes. Periodically there are celebrates with the larger community of faith in the church and at the Cathedral with the bishop.

Children's OCIA
This is for students who have not yet been baptized and are above the age of 7. The process is designed in the same manner as the Adult Initiation Process. However, it is adapted to suit the students' age level. Students will participate in all of the Rites, an interview and home study.
