A Franciscan Parish in the Archdiocese of Detroit

May 3, 2020

We miss you!

Though the stay at home order has just been extended to May 15, at this time, the suspension of public masses and all parish events issued until April 30, remains in effect until new guidelines are issued. The AOD is studying the situation and will get back to us "early next week" with updated guidelines. We will share those with you as soon as we receive them.

The priests of the AOD have a video conference with Archbishop Vigneron on April 30 where we will be updated on liturgical guidelines for the near future.

We are most grateful to parishioners who have continued to send in parish contributions during this time. Thank you for your support and generosity! We are receiving contributions through good old snail mail, and online. See our website to learn about setting up online giving.

We are attempting to start a Parish YouTube channel in order to enhance our outreach efforts. It is called TRANSFIGURATION PARISH, Southfield. This is a new venture and there are only a few videos posted so far. Let us know what you think!

(Fr. Jeff will welcome assistance in moving this new project forward!)

Check it out, and subscribe.
